A public limited company can offer shares to the public, subject to securities law, and needs at least seven members and three directors. It is heavier to run than a private company. We incorporate it when that is truly the vehicle you need — a widely held family company, a Section 8 that must be public, or a business preparing for a regulated offer — and we say so if a private company is enough.

Questions people ask
Does incorporation let us list on a stock exchange?
No. Listing is a separate SEBI and exchange process. Incorporation only creates the company.
